The goal, of course, is to get the entire type-in on NIGHT ECHOES done today (especially since, in a perfect world, it would have been typed in and overnighted to my editor yesterday, and this morning it is neither), and in time to get to the post office with room to spare to overnight the thing to my editor to have on her desk tomorrow. This may not happen, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
There’s a significant amount of type-in to do, including the writing of one … two new scenes, and the significant revision of a third.
For fun, I’m putting up a progress bar just for the type-in. If you’re interested in how it’s going, you can peek in from time to time and see. I’ll keep it updated; I’m sitting right at the computer for this part, after all.
Wish me luck.
Always! Did you want it in shamrock or horseshoes?
Oh, bummer. Well… at least you got some done. May the God of Peace and Quiet shine on you tomorrow, and the Devil of Interuptions fall off a cliff… or at least go pester somebody else! (Just NOT me. We’re having the damnedest time settling into school as it is… kids are into it, but mom isn’t.)
Critical phone calls today, one right after the other. Not going to get done today.
Go, Holly, Go!!
Good luck! I won’t be checking in before you’re done, unless you’re still at it in the evening hours, since I’m headed to work til 5 my time, but I’ll send good thoughts your way.
Best of luck!!
I’m cheering for you.
