I managed to salvage enough of the next portion of LGD to add an extra 4K to my count, bringing me up to 49K done. However, the part I managed to save was a sex scene, I had to change the POV in half of it, and the follow-up to that was pure slog.
I’m grateful to be so far along, but I’m now in the middle of the part that I’m cutting and deleting. Watching 40,000 words just fall out of a supposedly finished manuscript is hard.
