A chink in the armor of the never-ending migraines?

I’m not here. It’s Saturday, and I take Saturdays off, so I’m not here.

Which is the perfect way to note that I haven’t had a migraine in a week. It has also been not here.

Matt did a bunch of research, and about two weeks ago, we started trying something he came up with to fix this (after trying everything else except medication).

It took about three days to notice results, and another few days for the migraine to go. And after one accidental encounter with the problem substance, I had a brutal migraine the next day…but that cleared by getting back to what I was doing that was working.

Not ready to say more. One week is not enough to declare causation.

But correlation is there.

Going back to my day off.

    Hi,
I have migraines triggered by food (and now I’ve come to find, weather changes). I think the book the commenter above is talking about is Heal Your Headache by D. Buchholz. Doesn’t work for everyone but it worked for me. Good luck and glad to hear you haven’t had a headache!

I’m so happy to hear this. Sure hoping you get continued relief, but even a little bit has to help.

    What’s been not there?

back around 1983 there was a book published that talked about food and other triggers for migraines. I had a best friend who suffered from both migraines and cluster headaches. After she read the book and figured out her food triggers, both became few and far between. Best of luck on continued success!

That is great to hear Holly. I hope you’ve found something that will keep your headaches away. If so, I hope you share your secret with us. I, too, get massive migraines and it would be wonderful to know something else to try except medication. I don’t pretend to have them as often as you do, but I know how debilitating they can be.

    Good luck!

    Tuff
