A-a-a-a-a-lllmost there…a-a-a-lllmost there… WARPAINT edit #wabwm

Okay. So.

Two days ago, I blasted through over 200 pages of my editor’s revision. I had forty pages left.

So yesterday, I held off posting until I could com in and give my little “done” happy dance.

By the time I fell into bed last night, I’d made it through twenty pages. Plus ALL THE HANDWRITTEN PAGES IN THE WORLD.

Not making that same mistake today. I have twenty pages of write-in left on the manuscript, after which I have to do the second type-in.

Which after yesterday, is once again going to be a big deal.

I’ll come back and post when the write-in is done.

I’m not going to suggest that it might be done today. Live and learn, you know.

Holly, your link to reviewer page is not working. I’s love to be a reviewer because Cady is my favorite of all your series.series.

2440 words on my Nano today. I passed the 50k mark a week or so ago, but I’m still writing! I have a few scenes left until the end, so I probably won’t finish until this weekend though.

And I cried today too. Sitting in my car at the bank drive-through, I realized this story is connected to my real world life in way I hadn’t seen before, and that I’m writing it as a way to fix what can’t be fixed.

Congrats on finishing the write-in, Holly!

Glad you stoped by to post. Now I realize that for you, this process is probably, I dunno, “agonizing” is the word that comes to mind. But in my world, you have succeeded in truly building aniticipation to a crescendo previously unknown to me! I’ll admit that fantasy is not the genre first on my list of “to read” (it makes the top 5) – but I am all pavlovian about this book. Now when the word “Warpaint” is mentioned I get all slobbery. Waiting is now half the fun!

Write on and write with joy!

Continuing to pump out content here. 1206 words so far today. Going to go for a couple more timed writings.

Peace, out.
