It took me a while to find the angle into the new direction of the story. Now that I have it, it’s moving pretty well. Chick has made her first appearance — the hero’s dead daughter, appearing to the heroine. I’m still doing backfill and connections on existing material, so word counting is going to be a bit difficult — I’m pulling things out, putting them in. Checking this section for a word counts hasn’t been hard because it’s all in one block. It’s about to get messier, though, as I start moving into the stuff I’m going to keep, bringing it into line with the new outline and story.
