Started the edits at about 62,800. Am now at 70,618. Dropped out of chat because I hit the thing that I thought was closer than this — the dreaded Chapter That Must Be Completely Rewritten. Going to have to do this on pen-and-paper, then type in. This is a crucial chapter to the story, and considering everybody’s deadline is squeaking right now, I have to Mary Lou Retton it.
