I’m not really sure how I’m going to get from where I am to where I need to be, but I’m going to do what I’ve done before when a plot got complex. I’m going to trust the story to get me where I need to go. I’m pulling up a lot of things I didn’t anticipate; this is one of those times when my subconscious is much more active in the writing of the story than conscious, planned decision.

Before I go to sleep tonight, I’ll think about the part of the story I’ll need to write tomorrow. And I’ll hope that I get something useful from my dreams.
