2200 x 8

I had a full twenty-two hundred words done by 8 a.m. today, which was ideal, since that was when I ran out of peace and quiet time. I never did make it to the prison; my poor guy ran into trouble getting there, and crashed into his story opposite in the flesh for the first time. Not a happy meeting — which from my point of view means it went well.

And then there was the continuing situation with the horse, and Talyn, and what looks at the moment like a sort of amusing problem that most of us wish we had, and which is in fact a continuing lead-in to the main and deadly core of the whole tale. In spite of the fact that I have to roll out of bed at five in the morning to do it, I’m having a hell of a lot of fun right now.
