2145, and the scene is flying now

It’s making sense. It’s coming to life, and things that I didn’t plan, but that fit so beautifully, are falling into place as if by magic. Sometimes when I write, it seems like I am only channeling something that happens on a movie screen in front of my eyes — a wonderful screen that I can fast-forward and rewind at will when my fingers won’t transfer the images and dialogue and conflict fast enough. It is a bit of magic that I love, and the one thing that keeps me at the keyboard, enchanted and lost in a place without time or space, until the spell breaks and throws me back into the real world.

Tonight is like that. Lovely, lovely. It is my favorite kind of magic, because it is undeniably real, and it is mine.
