Things worked out differently than I’d intended. And better. Doggie got a turn as a POV character, and mananged to become someone stronger and new. The main players used magic like there was tomorrow — fought their war, and now they’re going home. And home is where the consequences of all that magic wait them.
Tomorrow should make for some interesting work.
