This is the first of my own books I’ve ever received a notification about. I thought it was kind of cool.

It is pretty cool. :D

It must never get old to see your name on the cover of a new release, I bet! :)

That is brilliant — what a great feeling it must be! Thanks for sharing it, made me grin too. :-)

There are some things about writing that really DON’T get old. Having a new book come out is one of them.

:D

Getting copies of cover art is another.

I am waiting rather anxiously for this one.

Talyn is my second favorite of your books – second only to Vincalis the Agitator. I have high hopes for Hawkspar. XD

I know it’s been out a few weeks now, but I only got Hawkspar in my hands yesterday, due to the chaos of moving across the country, and then having to get it special-ordered at the local bookstore. And I just now finished it, due, pretty much, to not doing anything else, including sleeping, between when I plunked down my money and now.

I’ve been waiting for Hawkspar ever since you began writing it, and it was as incredible as I imagined. The only thing I can really think to say, other than, “wow”, is that I wanted to spend more time in that world, with those characters. I hope it does well beyond all imagining, so that we can get Redbird, (because she really intrigued me, and was one of my favorite characters) and more Korre books after. I know I’ll be recommending it to anyone who’ll listen.

Wingcolor—thank you so much for buying the book, and I’m very glad that it was what you’d hoped for.

I loved both Talyn and Hawkspar, and I love Redbird. But I don’t see Redbird getting her shot. FWIW.

We got Hawkspar for my sister-in-law’s birthday and last I heard she was enjoying it. :D

I’m saving up my mad money to get it and The Ruby Key as a postpartum gift to myself. :)

PS: Any chance of you self-pubbing Redbird through the HollyShop?

Not much of one, unless I can invent a new way to sell fiction online that actually works.

Sorry to hear about that. :(

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Redbird’s chances.
