Today’s Trifecta
- 10,000 words of combined revision and new material just break even on the deadline
- Migraine that is making me see spots
- Hubby sick with fever of 101+
Any bets on the order these three are going to finish in?

2 PM, and 1/3rd done. What will be Chapter 14 is even more mangled. Agh.

Good luck finishing the rest. It sounds like a lot of work. I hope it goes fairly smoothly… or at least that the migraine will let up.
Yet another reason why you’re the pro… if this was me I think I’d just stay in bed :)

Hubby’s are almost always big babies, so nothing’s worse than what’s bothering them, even if they’re sympathetic to your plight.
No experience with migraines, but I know you have plenty — you’ll push through as best you can and keep hubby covered up and hydrated. It’s only 101+. He won’t start frying until it gets a little higher (and I hope this flippancy isn’t misplaced — if it’s truly worse than that, all bets are off).

2/3rds done. Hubby’s feeling somewhat better, and fever is down. Migraine is holding steady, but it isn’t making me throw up, so I’m still holding steady, too. One more chapter, and I can maybe go to bed.

So sorry about the migraine - I get them too, so can relate. I’m amazed you’re still plugging away. Hope you and Hubby feel better soon!

Three chapters and 9000 words down. As done as I’m going to get for today. I’m close enough to give in to the headache.

Sleep and lots of water for you both! Having just had a migraine whilst trying to calm a teething baby at 2am (and 3am and 4am..) I feel your pain (I think that’s about on par, except for the fact you have deadline pressure too!). How you keep writing through it boggles me - this is going to be one hell of a great book! Get better.
