I’m doing the copyedit of HAWKSPAR right now. This time, everything is still there. It’s a much more pleasant experience than going through your manuscript and discovering your editor removed your second protagonist, lemme tell you.
Have to have the manuscript back by November 1st, and it’s a big, big book, so I’m going to be scarce for a while.

I am going to treasure this book even more knowing the hell you went through to get it done the right way!
HAWKSPAR will be on the shelves June, 2008. So I have RUBY KEY in May, and HAWKSPAR in June.
2008 is going to be an interesting year.
But interesting in the very best way! Best of luck on the copyedit. Hawkspar is going to be awesome. We’ll all enjoy it the more knowing it’s checkered history.
