And the Writing Plan for the Day

by Holly Lisle on February 11, 2005

in Writing Life

I cut some words out of HAWKSPAR that went in the wrong direction. I may end up cutting some more. At the moment, I have 99,143. My goal for the day is 102,143. And some more re-think work during and after I get those. I suspect I may end up cutting as much as 4000 more words just to clean out areas where I ran wrong, but I’ll do that AFTER I get my three thousand so I don’t end up blowing a gasket trying to hit an ever-changing mark (thanks, Will, for that image). The WIP bar might be a bit funky to watch today.
