Up way before the crack of dawn, chased awake by nightmares of a guy with a knife going after a little blond toddler in an airport. Did laundry, paid bills and cleaned the kitchen, and now I’m settling in to get words.
Starting point 75,512. I don’t know where the extra ten words came from; Word does that sometimes. But what the hell, they’re there this morning, so I’ll take them.
Finish goal for the day is 78,512 or better.
Got about two thousand words of revision done on LAST GIRL DANCING yesterday, too — I’m definitely into the messy part. Not looking for any huge leaps on my WIP bar there for a couple of days.
