The rrôn in the cover is named Baanraak. He's ... um ... not the hero. I love this painting -- the colors are rich, the rrôn (you're thinking dragon, I know -- and you'd be sort of right, but there's a historical context that is also a spoiler, so I won't go into detail) has the beautiful iridescence I hoped for, and the details are right. The top right corner is clipped because that's the way my editor sent the cover. I'd do another scan from an actual book later.
