On this one, too, I had no input.

This one is a bit closer to what I would have chosen,
in that the main character, Kate Beacham, looks a lot tougher and
more ready to take care of herself than Jayjay did on the cover
for Glenraven. You still get no indication that she's from a small
town in North Carolina, or that she's been transported into an alternate
universe -- again, this was the publisher's choice of scene to illustrate.
Clyde is very true to the scene. I just wish Jim Baen would have
picked one that conveyed more of the sense of the novel. MY LATEST NOVELS |
