Cover Art -- Hell on High The cover art for Hell on High is also by Clyde Caldwell. This is my favorite cover of all the DEVIL'S POINT books. Here you see the nasty detective devil Glibspet and his unsuspecting lunch. I think the whole mood of this painting, with its Chandleresque mood and bizarre juxtaposition of serious and comic elements, is representative of the entire series. That poor, stupid poodle looks so happy.
