Tangible Magic for Readers

Although my work is tough to categorize (I've written high, dark,and contemporary fantasy, hard SF, and now mainstream suspense,) I do have a theme that ties my books together. I write adventures in which strong women and strong men are pitted against terrifying obstacles, and in which their hope and idealism and courage and faith and intelligence are their only real weapons. My themes focus on personal responsibility, the power of the individual to effect change, and the power of love, honor, and courage to transform.
