Ever since I was little, fabricating cheesy romantic subplots and dreaming up backstory for why almost all of the figures from Cluedo secretly had it in for each other. When you really get to the creation point, that part when you're really making an entire world, that's probably the best part of writing for me. I've heard this very thing said in regards to the writing style of some of the biggest mega-volume authors out there today.
