Hi, Pandababy—not sure how I missed this, but I really appreciated your post about honor. It gave me hope that, as hideous as our government is, hope remains that it could become better, and that there are people around who, like me, want it to be better.

Pandababy has it right — it the HONOR, Stupid. Not honesty. Not sincerity. Honor. Perhaps not knowing the meaning of the word does impede actually being able to integrate it into thought, word, and deed. And, she’s right, it’s not limited to a single political party.
I love Obama. I voted for him when I lived in Illinois, and I’ll vote for him if (hopefully) he makes it past the primaries.
