Off Hours

I’ve been up since 3 AM. At the moment, I’m writing on the proposal for Robin (and Claire), after that, I’ll work on the e-book version of HtCB, then I’ll move on to Cady II, and after that, see if I can wrap up the crit I’m currently working on.

My work hours are all screwed up, mostly because my sleep hours are all screwed up. This has been playing havoc with my productivity, but I’m trying this today to see how it goes. Three may be my new off-to-work time. (But I hope not.)

The proposal is coming along nicely, anyway.

  1. How silly of me! I knew EMT in the medical context, but I thought “book proposal, it must stand for something else.” D’oh!

  2. I’ve got looming coursework deadlines and I’m having to pull all-nighters just to get the work done. Waking at 3AM is nothing! :)

Hope the sleep patterns sort themselves out. I sympathise.

  3. I’ve been there, done that. I have gone many nights without sleep, several episodes of 3, to as much as 8 days, without sleeping. It’s not fun. Fortunately, it’s been several months since I hae had that problem and I’m very thankful that it appears to be behind me.

I wish all good vibes with your new proposal.

  4. Lol, my sleeping rhythm is so screwed that I match the US times when meeting people in FM chat. 3 am is still early night for me. *grin*

Good luck with your proposal, Holly.

  5. Ouch. I get up at 5AM everyday (six-thirty would be my preference) but I can’t imagine that… let alone working that early! Hope that you can get that straightened out, Holly; and I’m glad to hear that the proposal is coming along. Stupid of me, but what does “EMT” stand for?
