I know that feeling. I’m ‘seeing’ things out of the corners of my eyes all the time and it makes me jumpy as a teased cat.

I had the same problem with seeing the scene as dark or twilight and being surprised when it was noon. But then noon is always catching me by surprise.

I would turn the page…

I’m glad the things I see out of the corners of my eyes aren’t really there, but it’s disconcerting all the same.

What worries me? The things on the periphery of my vision are getting larger…not man- or calf-size yet, but they’re cat-size…

Sometimes I think Natasha has an alter-ego.

Hi, Holly. I always love your writing. From the very first sentence I was hooked. But for some reason, when I first started reading, I imagined it was dark. Probably because of how she felt and all the things we imagine hide in the dark. It wasn’t until she checked her watch that I realized it was light out.
