Probably 200 words of planning, charting, dot and lining.

Again, my muse is having too much fun with wild ideas.

I want to really give planning the time to come together, but I am also chomping at the bit to say something. I plan to just start some pages for each character, see what they have to say. They might not make it into the final book, but I really want words, words, words again.

Didn't write on the latest 2 days, I needed time to focus and plot the next few scenes.

Way to go Holly and Deb! Pencil Neck, good luck with the deadline issues. (knock on wood--"scratch a stay, turn three times," etc...)

27 words, but they fix a moderate problem, allowing me to write the second half of the scene without making my audience hate the MC for what he does--and doesn't--do to the slave trader. I'm at the hinge in the scene.

Got a little sidetracked by school. The first main topic of a class has been one of my main but subtle themes, and I realized that I wasn't sure I wanted to endorse the idea in fiction the way it was presented in class, so I'm doing a little more research on it. If anyone knows a good book or website on how personal choice and culture influence personal development--and by "good" I mean sort of professional but ok for beginners--please let me know. My teacher hasn't been much help on this part. schroe29@uwosh.edu :D

Kav1: 650, and one of my scenes near the end, being mostly action, ended up quite short, so I've only got a couple more to go before my second attempt at telling this story is finished (in first draft anyway)
D&DII: 902
RFW: 1260
Another two thousand words through the great OFL word cull, too.

779 words.

The Princess tells the interrogator that she doesn't know where her mother is but if they let her go, she'll track her down and turn her in. The interrogator has the Princess taken back to her cell.

Then the Princess is out and contacts her ship to get the Dancer's address. She goes to the address to talk about the weapons she has on her ship. A child answers the door. The Dancer is not happy and doesn't want to do this in front of her kid.

This whole week has been insane. I've got tight deadlines all over the place and they're dumping more work on me. It's crazy. There's no way I can finish everything on time.
